Kasher Certification for Establishments

Bringing Halakhic Integrity and Sepharadic Standards to Your Kitchen

Whether you are a restaurateur seeking to serve the growing observant community, a hotel catering to Jewish and Muslim guests, or a food processing plant in need of reliable supervision, the Caribbean Kasher Authority (CKA) provides professional kasher certification built on halakhic rigor, transparency, and Sepharadi tradition.

What We Certify

CKA certifies a wide range of establishments, including:

  • Restaurants – dine-in, takeout, or delivery
  • Hotels and Resorts – kitchens, room service, events
  • Catering Services – private functions, semaḥoth, and corporate events
  • Food Factories and Processing Plants – industrial-level production lines

Certification opens your establishment to a broader clientele seeking authentic kasher standards with full halakhic reliability

Our Certification Process

#1

Initial Consultation & Facility Review

We begin with a site visit to assess:

Kitchen layout and equipment
Ingredient sourcing and menu content
Staff roles and workflow

This allows us to tailor a supervision plan that fits your specific operation.

#2

Full Kitchen Kasherization

Where required, we perform a thorough kashering of the facility:

  • Deep cleaning of all appliances, surfaces, and utensils
  • 24-hour lockdown period to ensure halakhic reset
  • Kashering of ovens, stovetops, sinks, cookware, and machinery
  • Replacement of any non-kasher or non-kasherable items

#3

Menu and Ingredient Vetting

Our mashgiḥim work directly with chefs to ensure that every dish is:

  • Free from non-kasher ingredients
  • Composed of ingredients with recognized kasher certification
  • Compliant with halakhic norms of meat, dairy, and pareve separation

We provide alternatives and sourcing suggestions as needed.

#4

On-Site Supervision

CKA assigns experienced on-site mashgiḥim who supervise:

  • All food prep and cooking
  • Delivery intake and storage
  • Compliance with bishul yisrael and path yisrael where applicable
  • Event preparation and service (for hotels and caterers)

Supervision may be continuous or scheduled, depending on the operation.

#5

Certification Issuance

When standards are met, CKA issues a visible certification certificate, valid for one year and renewable. This includes:

    • Unique serial number and issue/expiry date

    • Clearly stated certification scope (e.g., kitchen only, full service, catering only)

    • Public contact number for verification

Regular follow-up inspections ensure ongoing compliance.
